Troubled pop star Britney Spears handed herself in to a L.A police station on 15th October to provide mug shots and fingerprints in relation to two alleged traffic offences. The two charges that Britney Spears faces are said to be, ‘hit and run’ and ‘driving without a valid driver’s license’.

The incident in question occurred on August 6th, when a car that she was driving scraped against the side of another parked car in a parking lot. This was all captured on camera by a herd of paparazzi photographers who had been trailing her. A video clip of the incident shows Britney Spears getting out of her vehicle, briefly inspecting the damage to her own car, and then walking away from the scene without even checking to see if she had caused any damage to the other vehicle.

After spending about 30 minutes being processed on Monday, Britney emerged from the police station and commented that the police officers had been ‘really nice’ before being driven off by a male companion in a Mercedes.
