UK POP CHART HISTORY - MARCH 1972
The New Seekers have been chosen to represent the United Kingdom at the 1972 Eurovision Song Contest, and the song that's been chosen from a pool of six contenders is 'Beg Steal Or Borrow', which, by chance, happens to be this week's highest new entry at number 12. The New Seekers have this week become the first act to achieve two placings in the same top 20 chart so far this year.
