UK POP CHART HISTORY - MARCH 1972
Ex-Zombies frontman Colin Blunstone achieves his highest ever chart position as a solo artist this
week. His beautiful reworking of The Moody Blues' 'Say You Don't Mind' peaks at a disappointing
number 15.
Colin does, however, achieve one further visit to the top 20 nine years later in 1981, when along with
Dave Stewart (no relation to the Eurythmic) they reach number 13 with their version of the Jimmy Ruffin
classic 'What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted'.
