UK POP CHART HISTORY - OCTOBER 1972
We have three new entries in this week's top 20. The highest, at number 16, is 'Guitar Man', which will prove to be the last top 20 hit for Bread. At number 18, ex- Marmalade man Junior Campbell, enjoys his first solo top 20 hit with 'Hallelujah Freedom'. Finally, crawling in at number 20, is the master of pseudonyms, Jonathan King. 'Loop Di Love' will be the only Jonathan King single to be issued under the rather indiscreet moniker, Shag.
