UK POP CHART HISTORY - FEBRUARY 1972
While 12 year old Neil Reid continues his slow slide down the chart to number 9, the highest new
entry this week comes in one place above him, courtesy of Michael Jackson. Jacko was still thirteen
when this, his first solo effort, crashed into the top twenty at a very impressive number 8. One of
these two child stars would later go on to enjoy huge international success as the world's biggest pop star.
Can't quite remember which one it was offhand...
